I decided to look into writing. I started taking classes locally and online, joined several writers groups, and started learning the craft of writing. It took me three years of hard ward to make my first sale, and that was for a novella, which was included in a fiction collection with three other authors. I sold three novellas before I sold my first book. I have since sold 11 books to Heartsong Presents for their bookclub. Those books are shorter novels of 45-50,000 words. Then last year, I sold my first trade fiction series. The Anonymous Bride, book one in my Texas Boardinghouse Brides series just released. Second Chance Brides comes out this October, with Finally A Bride in April, 2011.
